"Show Me Your Love" Corn & Pork Stir-Fry

1 egg

3 pork shoulder steaks

1 chicken stock cube

2 tsp cornstarch mixed with water (slurry)

¾ can of corn kernels

Marinade

1 tsp salt

A pinch of ground white/black pepper

1 tsp sesame oil
-
½ tsp sugar
-
2 tsp light soy sauce

1.5 tsp cornstarch

Instructions

Flatten the pork shoulder steaks slightly using the back of a knife, then cut them into small cubes.

Mix the pork cubes with the marinade and let them marinate for 15 minutes.

Heat a pan over medium heat with some oil and stir-fry the pork until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

Dissolve the chicken stock cube in 250ml of hot water to make chicken broth. Pour the broth into the pan along with the corn kernels and bring to a boil.

Beat the egg in a bowl, then slowly drizzle it into the pan while stirring in circular motions to create silky egg ribbons.

Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens slightly. Add the cooked pork back to the pan and mix well.
