Sweet & Savory Pork Stir-Fry with Onions

1 onion

1 tsp light soy sauce

1 tsp sugar

1 tbsp ketchup
Marinade

Instructions
1. Flatten the pork steaks slightly using the back of a knife, then cut them into thick strips. Marinate for 15 minutes.
2. Peel the onion and cut it into thick strips. Set aside.
3. Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan and pan-fry the pork strips until both sides are golden brown. Remove and set aside.
4. Add a little more oil to the pan and stir-fry the onions until softened .Add soy sauce, sugar, asplash of water, and ketchup, stirring until the onions turn golden and tender.
5. Return the cooked porkto the pan and stir-fryeverything together.Serve hot.
